Past Knowledge Metaphors

Forgetting what i've done is like writing a weekly reflection and it disappearing.

Sort of remembering is like having all the pieces to the puzzle but not being abale to make it fit.

Drawing on past knowledge is like wining because I feel like the king.

Photo compertisen

Each week Mrs Larsen makes a topic  and we take photos and enter them in the competition  then Mr Peterson picks the one he likes the best and that is the winner. This week the topic is close ups. Here are some of mine.

Week 10 Reflection

What: We did a photo competition, we had to take close up photos. I also did blending, I blended my flowers, now I am up to crazy gluing them and I put a VOKI on my blog.

So what: I learnt how to take close up photos a differnt way. To blend and how to make a voki and put it on my blog.

Now what: I want to win the competion and crazy glue my flowers and finsh my work on time to be a king on the successs-o meter.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

UKELELES

At the begining of the term we started observationally drawing ukuleles for our art work. Then we photocopied them and changed the size of some of them. We choose three transitional colours to use to blend. Next we went around the outline with black pastel and used the black on white paper to make music notes and lines.then we glued the whole thing onto black paper.

what: We got  new jobs in the classroom and new a book for shared reading.  We did a cool activity for the shared reading where we had to create a picture of a machine that made a noise. We went to a ripper rugby game to support the team from our school. It was a draw. We did vases in art and we copied flowers off a sheet and then wiollo have to colour them.

sowhat:  I learnt how to do contractions in writing and to obervationally draw flowers in art.I also learnt how to make vase in art symetrical.

now what: I want to get my work done on time and I want to be a lion on the success-o -meter by managing my impulsivity in Jump Jam
